It's been a long day!

Poor Daddy! He had a couple vacation days again this week, and it just didn't go the way he expected. His first day was spent going to the chiropractor and then a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. First part he was fine with, it's the pizza place that did him in. Friday it was payday errands, and since we had parent teacher conferences that meant we couldn't start until late and I don't drive very well at night, Matt did the driving. Saturday it was Costco on the weekend before Thanksgiving. (Don't really need more of an explanation there do I?) But today takes the cake.

Eli and Daddy were gonna veg in the PJ's all day, and try to level Daddy's new WoW toon before Daddy goes back to work. Only Eli has the flu. Sissy and I were gonna go out and do girl things. (Actually, we were gonna go to the craft store and get stuff for Christmas Cards and school projects.) Instead, we spent the day waiting for Eli's next rush to the bathroom and trying to come up with ways to entertain him in between, as well as soothing Sissy's ruffled feathers. So I guess, I should have started with: Poor Eli!

Now we hope that Sissy doesn't get sick. Having the flu days before a holiday like Thanksgiving really sucks! Especially since we're having both Turkey and Ham, so they both get their favorites. (It was a tied vote. Daddy and Sissy wanted Ham, Eli and Mommy voted for Turkey. I guess I'm pretty lucky you can buy small amounts at one shot.) Regardless of sick kids, Turkey and Ham, we're gonna be hanging out here, watching football.

What about you guys? What do ya'll have planned for this week? Whatever your plans, I pray you have a blessed week, and thankful holiday. If you're traveling, be safe. Enjoy your families!

Smoochies!

Poor Eli is right! I hope he recovers quickly and the rest of you are able to fend it off.

We're having both sides of the family here this year, so we're in for a full, happy, crazy house. We can't wait!

Happy Thanksgiving to the four of you!
